Product Introduction
The large aircraft carrier Shinano, which was converted from a battleship to an aircraft carrier, is now available with etched parts! The snap-fit assembly style eliminates the need for adhesives, while stickers and multi-color molded parts eliminate the need for painting. While the ship's bottom is identical to that of the Yamato and Musashi, the ship's sides, flight deck, and bridge are exclusive to the Shinano! The anti-aircraft gun mounts and ship's sides are simplified by consolidating the number of parts required! Yet, the shape remains perfectly detailed! The anti-aircraft gun bases are integrated with the bases, and the sides and top of the funnels are also made into a single part, simplifying assembly. The hull is molded in a green color, and some of the ship's sides are painted with stickers. The ship includes three Reppu and Ryusei aircraft. The included stickers include flight deck markings as well as fine details such as the chrysanthemum crest and the mesh pattern of the No. 21 radar. The photo-etched parts are genuine and do not detract from the image of the deformed base kit, yet they contain the same level of detail as a standard ship model. Etched parts include handrails, window frames, ladders, cranes, chimneys, rainwater covers, rectifiers, Type 13 radar, Type 21 radar, gun turret shields, sights, fall prevention nets, gangways, windbreaks, landing beacons, braking systems, landing gear, rocket launchers, the chrysanthemum crest, and bridge sections. *This product is made in Japan. *This is a plastic model kit that requires assembly.
