Commissioned in March 2015, the Izumo is the largest helicopter carrier in the history of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, measuring 248 meters in length and displacing 19,500 tons. It can carry a maximum of 14 helicopters, with five simultaneously taking off and landing. It is equipped only with armaments necessary for self-defense, and can carry approximately 3,300 liters of fuel for at-sea refueling of other carriers. The kit is constructed with parts that combine precision and ease of assembly, and includes support parts to ensure reliable assembly of the hull parts. It includes two types of carrier-based helicopters, an Osprey, and various work vehicles.
