A new all-black color has been added to the EDIFICE SOSPENSIONE ECB-2000 series, a digital-analog combination watch featuring a suspension arm design. The black ion-plated stainless steel band and bezel, combined with the carbon fiber-reinforced resin case, create a chic look. The lug design is inspired by the double wishbone suspension of formula cars. The case is made of lightweight, high-strength carbon fiber reinforced resin, making it feel light to wear despite the metal band. It also connects to a smartphone app via Bluetooth®, providing functionality important to racing teams. It features accurate timekeeping, easy-to-use world time, a stopwatch with 200 lap records in 1/1000-second increments that can be transferred to a smartphone, and a Super Illuminator that illuminates the LCD and dial even in dark places. The "Tough Solar" solar charging function generates power even under low light conditions, such as fluorescent lamps, and a full charge provides enough energy for seven months of normal use.
