Product Introduction
The Steel Armored Hunter is now a 3D rendition in the Takeya-style figure series!
The progenitor of the Black Hounds that appeared in a fictional history.
The "Takeya-style articulated figure" series, overseen by Takayuki Takeya, whose exceptional sculpting skills have been recognized worldwide, now features the protective gear from Mamoru Oshii's "Kerberos Saga"!
The model is based on the armor from the radio drama "Kerberos: The Steel Hounds," for which Takeya was responsible for the modeling.
The 101st Armored Hunter Division was organized as a ceremonial unit directly under the German dictator during World War II, and after the dictator's assassination, it was sent to the fierce battle zones of the Eastern Front as a detestable symbol of his oppression.
This "Type 34 Special Enhanced Armor" is the exclusive equipment of its members and is positioned as the origin of various protective armors that appear later in the "Kerberos Saga."
The protective armor, reminiscent of Western samurai armor, features intricate details from the ribbed armor to the chainmail worn underneath, while maintaining full articulation.
To allow for dynamic poses such as crouching and aiming a gun, the shoulders can swing forward and the torso can bend deeply, all while incorporating a sliding mechanism for the armor parts to ensure there are no gaps.
The elongated mask, reminiscent of a dog's snout, features clear parts to recreate the red eyes that are a common element of the protective armor.
The included weapons are the MG34 heavy machine gun and the Mauser C96 pistol.
The MG34 has a unique style with a foregrip attached to the barrel mount, and the bipod at the tip can be displayed in its deployed state using interchangeable parts.
The backpack, which houses the hard case and the MG34's drum magazine, also boasts precise detail!
The black armor is painted with a deep, semi-gloss finish, even capturing the rough texture of steel.
The weathering, inspired by rust, emphasizes the details and adds a touch of sophistication.
