The U859QL is designed to be plugged directly into panel or desk mount XLRF type connectors. It features an ultra-flexible, small-diameter gooseneck and accepts interchangeable elements available in cardioid, hypercardioid, omnidirectional, and unilinear cardioid polar patterns. The phantom power microphone with built-in electronics also includes an 80Hz UniSteep low-cut filter to reduce pickup of low-frequency ambient noise. The microphone length is 18.9 inches.
