It is different from conventional colored sticks, and has a special painted active grip treatment that responds to the heat of your hands, giving it a cool look and high playability that prevents it from slipping even when you sweat, helping to reduce the weakness of your palms and fingers and allowing you to play freely. The entire surface of the stick, except for the tip, is processed so that it will function even when held upside down. The 5A size is 14.5mm thicker than the TX420N, and the length is slightly longer, making it easier to load power and uses wood chips. ●Mike Portnoy's comment This model has an active grip finish that provides a firm grip even when your palms get wet with sweat while playing, and it's a little heavier than the 420 that I usually use in my other prog band, so it's perfect for hard rock playing. I use the 420X for Winery Dogs, Twisted Sisters, and Metal Allegiance. The black color is very cool, and the wood chips are different from the 420.
