A moving work that poetically plays memories of everyday life on the earth embraced by Mauna Kea on the island of Hawaii!
This work, which can also be called a “collection of music traveling to the Hawaiian Islands,” includes not only Mauna Kea, but also various things related to the island of Hawaii, such as the 2 waterfalls “Hiiravé” (6th song) in the Waipio Valley on the island of Hawaii, “Akaka Falls” (15th song) in the woods a short distance from the Hamakua Coast Highway, and the bird “Meriken Kieragi” (9th song), which is often seen in Hawaii A song will appear. Also, songs 4 and 5 are played while remembering my daily memories of living on a ranch in Waimea on the island of Hawaii and the lessons I was taught by my grandfather at that time. This work poetically depicts everyday memories of living on the island of Hawaii, and the concept of the album is important memories and scenes that come up from past diaries. Performances are performed using a solo guitar and 2 or more guitars by Keola Beamer. George Winston, the producer of this work, is participating in the 10th song on guitar.
