The BODY is a traditional traditional western type, with a single-ply spruce top and mahogany SIDE/BACK.
The SIDE and BACK are made of mahogany, and a “newly developed scalloped bracing” is used! The woodworking technique newly developed by the Yamaha guitar team enhances the volume in the mid-range and lower registers, resulting in a powerful sound. The designers did not base their development on past experience or guesswork, but rather conducted extensive sound experiments and analysis to scientifically elucidate the evolution of sound. This analysis led to a new bracing design, which delivers a sound with unprecedented expressiveness while maintaining the durability of the surface plate, which is the key to sound!
