Jackson's Jackson Pro Series Rhoads carries on the “metal legacy” pioneered by the immortal guitarist Randy Rhoads. The metal scene has evolved dramatically over the decades, and today it demands a hotter, more aggressive tone than ever before.

The RRT-5, featuring a classic gloss black finish with gold pickguard and hardware, boasts a mahogany body paired with a maple neck featuring a scarf joint, graphite-reinforced through-body construction, and a smooth oil-back finish. This formidable V-shaped “war axe” is equipped with a variety of elements to accommodate different styles. The 12-inch (304.8 mm) to 16-inch (406.4 mm) ebony fingerboard, with binding around the edges, is equipped with 22 jumbo frets and pearloid shark fin inlays.

The pair of modern Seymour Duncan® Distortion humbucker pickups, specially selected for exceptional sound, drive the guitar's voicing, delivering a balanced, flexible sound with pure clean tones and powerful distortion.

The RRT-5 features a 3-way toggle pickup switch, Jackson's adjustable TOM-style bridge, and an anchored tailpiece. A gig bag is included.
