[Product Description]
・The Kintetsu 10100 series, a two-story express train affectionately known as the "New Vista Car," is now available as a product.
・This lineup allows you to enjoy the "New Vista Car" in its post-renovation form.
・Not only can you recreate the appearance of two or three connected trains, just like the actual train, but you can also recreate the train displaying the farewell run headmark.
This product is based on the form after the renovation carried out by around 1975.
Features that were added during the renovation include the radio antenna on the roof at the front of the lead car, the front window defroster, and the snowplow under the front floor.
The two-story middle car, the Sa10200 series, has been recreated with changes to the window appearance, interior, and whether or not it has a snack corner, which were made following the relocation of the toilet (cars 10218 and 10210 in the nine-car set do not have a snack corner).
The exterior of the Sa10200 series recreates features from its later years, such as the blue paint on the bottom of the body and the removal of the radio receiving antenna on the roof.
The 6-car set, A, recreates the V01 formation, the only non-through leading car, the Mo10100 series, which had pillars on the front windows.
All leading cars except 10106 and 10110 feature illuminated head and tail lights, signal lights, and express train symbols. White LEDs are used, with only the through leading cars having a switch to turn them off.
Slotless motors ensure smooth and quiet running. Formations A and C are powered, while Formation B is not.
The front ends of both through leading cars are equipped with body-mounted KATO close-coupled couplers (without hooks).
The 6-car and 9-car sets come with express train symbols installed on the non-through leading cars, and include an express train symbol for the through leading cars and a front hood for installing the express train symbol. The 3-car C set comes with express train symbols installed on both leading cars, and includes replacement front hoods to recreate a configuration without the express train symbol.
The included destination display board features the B-type express train (stopping at major stations), which was the focus of service in the train's final stages of operation. Includes: "Osaka-Uehommachi," "Kashikojima," "Kyoto," "Nara," "Kashiharajingu-mae," "Nagoya (light blue)," and "Toba (light blue)."
Comes with the headmark and shipping tag attached during the farewell run.
The decorative box for the 6-car A and B formations can store the 3-car C formation set.
