This is the fourth installment in the "Another Century's Episode" action game series, in which players control various mecha from mecha anime and complete missions. The series includes 11 titles, including new additions like "Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam," "Genesis of Aquarion," and "Macross F (Frontier)." Some mecha now allow players to freely change pilots, and a new "Chase Mode" has been added, featuring semi-automatic movement and a variety of camera angles. To maximize the use of each mecha's various weapons, the game features two systems: a "tension gauge" that increases when certain conditions are met for each pilot, and a "weapon panel" that consumes the gauge to unlock powerful weapons.
