This is the third installment in the popular wrestling fighting game series, featuring wrestlers from the WWF, a professional wrestling organization based in Madison Square Garden, New York. Story mode takes you through a month in the WWF. It begins with the owner, Vince McMahon, inviting you to challenge for the tag team championship, and you must find a partner yourself. Throughout, you'll be forced to engage in tactics both in and out of the ring, just like in the TV show. Various modes are also available, including a "Cage Deathmatch," a 30-man time-delayed battle royale called "Battle Rumble," and a "Special Referee Match" where you can even act as the referee. Even in simple singles matches, you can choose whether or not to have a manager. "Create" mode allows you to create your own wrestler and customize every detail. You can even create your own original face paint, mask design, and appealing poses, and have them appear in Story mode. Experience the fully-fledged spectacle of American pro wrestling.
