The Monkey 125, released in September 2021 with a new engine, is a leisure motorcycle that maintains the timeless appeal of its predecessor, the original Monkey Z50M, a model that scales up the fun factor while maintaining its unchanging appeal, such as simplicity, compactness, and cuteness, inherited from the original domestic production model.
The shape and presence of the bike have been faithfully reproduced, including the air-cooled, 4-stroke OHC single-cylinder engine now mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, the backbone frame that combines flexibility and rigidity, and the inverted front forks that reduce unsprung weight.
The frame and tank are also die-cast, giving this finished model a high-quality feel and texture.
