Pit Road's "1/700 Skywave Series" plastic model kit of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) Destroyer DDG-172 Shimakaze.
The DDG-172 Shimakaze was commissioned in 1988 as the second Hatakaze-class missile destroyer and is currently assigned to the 8th Escort Division, 4th Escort Group, based in Sasebo.
Available as either an offshore or full-hull model.
