A 2-way sensor eye that can be used for both hawase and casting!
[Forward installation] Connect the rig to the line eye with the smaller cone on top. When the rig is left slack on the seabed, the line eye floats in the air, and the body-attached rig does not crawl flat, allowing for the intended floating effect when fishing for filefish, etc.
[Reverse installation] Connect the rig to the line eye with the larger cone on top. The cone shape means that the weight flapping is minimized when casting from a boat. The low centre of gravity increases casting distance! Furthermore, the reduced flapping allows the rig to land stably on the water, reducing the chance of the bait coming off in the air due to the weight flapping.
