This is a Revell Germany 1/700 Scale assembly and painting required plastic model kit of the legendary U.S. Navy battleship Missouri BB-63. The Missouri, an Iowa-class battleship, was most notable as the site of the surrender of Japan which ended the Second World War. This kit features the "Mighty Mo" as she appeared during the Gulf War in 1991. Model kit features: Detailed decks & superstructure, optional waterline or full hull. Includes display stand & decals. 223 parts on 8 sprues plus waterline plate and lower hull. L: 386 mm, W: 47 mm. The battleship Missouri's illustrious service in the U.S. Navy lasted some four decades and during which she received a total of eleven battle stars for service in World War II, Korea, and the Persian Gulf. After firing her guns in battle for the last time in support of the 1990 Gulf War, the was Missouri decommissioned (March 31, 1992). Although she is no longer in active service, the Missouri can still be admired as a museum ship at Pearl Harbor,
