Woody Joe 1/150 Five-Story Pagoda of Horyuji Temple Wooden Model Assembly Kit
The five-story pagoda of Horyuji Temple is said to be the oldest and most beautifully balanced of all the existing pagodas.
The spacing between the pillars narrows from the first floor to the upper floors, and the roof also shrinks in proportion, creating an approximately isosceles triangle.
Like the Kondo Hall, it stands on a double base, reaching a total height of 32.45 meters, with the pagoda making up approximately one-third of the total height.
The first floor has a sōkai (so-kai) floor, and the second and upper floors are surrounded by a balustrade with a swastika pattern.
