Product Introduction

This is a 1/48-scale plastic model assembly kit of the A-10A, the A variant of the U.S. ground attack aircraft. Italeri parts are included, and the Japanese assembly instructions, produced by Platz, ensure a safe and enjoyable kit. With a total length of 33.8 cm, the aircraft's distinctive form, with its straight wings and two engines mounted on its back, is impressively reproduced. Not only the fuselage shape but also the panel lines are realistically rendered. Some inspection panels can be assembled open or closed. The kit also includes masking stickers for convenient painting of the canopy frame. The markings reproduce the desert camouflage color scheme experimentally applied to A-10As operated by the 47th Fighter Squadron, 917th Wing, U.S. Air Force Reserve in the 1980s. While never officially adopted, this aircraft features a unique desert camouflage pattern, rare for the A-10.
