After being stabbed to death by a random assailant, salaryman Mikami Satoru finds himself reincarnated in another world. However, he finds himself as a slime!
As a slime, Rimuru is thrust into a world populated by various races, determined to create a country where all races can live happily together.
The anime "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" became a huge hit upon its TV broadcast. Now, a completely new original animation is being released as a limited edition of the latest manga, volume 12!!
As usual, Shuna and Shion are fighting over his slime body.
Rimuru thinks that sharing his body clones might put an end to the fighting, but gives up after imagining how difficult it would be if his other companions also asked for them.
He suddenly comes up with the idea of creating cushions made from replicas of his soothing slime body to hand out.
After asking his companions in Tempest for a suitable material, he discovers that Sarasa sand, found by the lakeside in the forest, is the perfect material.
They immediately head to the lakeside to gather some food, but find a monster there...!?
Furthermore, Milim, having heard about the picnic, rushes over from the sky!
A fun side story episode in which Rimuru and the other all-star members of the Jura Tempest Federation relax by the lake and enjoy a brief respite.
While retaining the TV anime's stellar staff and cast, this OAD is packed with exclusive footage never before seen in the TV series!
