X JAPAN is Japan's greatest rock band.
Current members are YOSHIKI (drums/piano), Toshl (vocals), PATA (guitar), SUGIZO (guitar/violin), and HIDE (who passed away in 1998), TAIJI (who passed away in 2011), and HEATH (who passed away in 2023), who remain deeply cherished in the hearts of fans.
Formed in 1982, centered around YOSHIKI and Toshl, the band made its major debut as "X" in 1989 and changed its name to "X JAPAN" in 1992.
After releasing numerous timeless hits, including "Kurenai," "ENDLESS RAIN," "Tears," and "Forever Love," the band sadly disbanded in 1997. However, they miraculously reunited in 2007 and expanded their activities not only in Japan but around the world. They continue to captivate countless fans with their stunning performances and profound musical compositions.
