Product Introduction
At the time of privatization, the cars assigned to Aomori Depot were used on the Hakutsuru, Yuuzuru, and Hatsuri trains, as well as the Tsugaru express and Akebono special trains.
After regular service ended in 1994, they were used for transient transport. However, with the 2002 extension of the Tohoku Shinkansen to Hachinohe and the end of the Hatsuri express service, these cars were transferred to Minamiakita Depot and Sendai Depot, meaning that these cars are no longer in service.

The SaRo 581 series is newly reproduced with a smaller conductor's compartment window.
The underfloor of the Mohane unit is reproduced as in the later model.
The green car mark is pre-printed.

The car number is selectable and compatible with transfer sheets (transfer sheets are included in the basic set).
Features a new current collection system and black wheels.
Includes TN couplers with piping (SP) as standard.
