How to Use

- Do not use on solid wood floors, tatami mats, or carpets. Do not use on damaged or aging floors. Remove the mat approximately once a month to allow the underside to air out. After removing the mat, the floor may become slippery. If this occurs, wipe it off with a rag using a mild alkaline detergent or diluted alkaline detergent. (If the underside of the mat adheres to the floor, wipe it off with a rag soaked in hot water.) If you use indoor shoes with non-slip soles, the corners of the mat may curl up. If this occurs, replace the mat in a position that does not interfere with walking, or cut the corners round with scissors. The color of tile mats may appear different depending on the orientation. If the white stripes on the underside appear different even when they are aligned in the same direction, turn the mat upside down (rotate it 180 degrees) and lay it again so the stripes line up. If you use vegetable soap, bar soap, or pure soap to wash the mat, be sure to rinse thoroughly. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. ・You can wash it in a drum-type washing machine, but please use the gentle cycle (hand wash mode) and place it in a laundry net to prevent wrinkles, deformation, and shrinkage. (Never use a dryer.) ・The water-repellent finish is not waterproof, so if left for a long time or depending on the usage conditions, water may seep in. Wipe it off as soon as it gets wet. ・Chemical ingredients such as deodorizing and disinfecting sprays may weaken the water-repellent effect. If the product becomes dirty, wash it before use. ・After washing, allow it to dry thoroughly before use.
