Product Introduction
IBG 1/72 Hungarian Army 41M Turan II Medium Tank with 75mm Gun Plastic Model Kit.
The Hungarian Army, which deployed the Toldi light tank before World War II, sought a more substantial tank.
The decision was made to license-produce the T-21, an enlarged version of the Czech 35(t) light tank.
Due to various design changes and a change to a domestically produced 40mm main gun, production delivery was delayed until 1942.
As it was not powerful enough to compete with the Soviet T-34, a version with a 75mm main gun was developed. In addition to the gun change, the turret's volume was enlarged to ensure maneuverability.
Approximately 140 vehicles were produced and deployed in combat against the Soviet army.
Decals are included.
