Play as a cutting-edge architect and make Barcelona a success with its urban planning.
Barcelona, a worker placement game in which tiles and tokens placed on the board intertwine closely, is now available in Japanese.
This is a worker placement game with an urban planning theme.
In the mid-19th century, Barcelona was suffering from poor living conditions due to its overcrowding, and in order to save it,
urban planner Ildefonso Cerda devised a large-scale, bold urban plan.
Players take on the role of cutting-edge architects hoping to gain fame through this grand plan.
Each turn, you place a citizen token you want to relocate on a section of the game board and perform an action corresponding to that location.
As the game progresses, various elements are added to the game board, such as paved streets and trams.
This strengthens players' actions and accelerates the city's planning even further.
Players will gain greater fame by progressing through the construction of key buildings in the plan.
Sometimes, to gain even more prestige, you'll take "New Style Actions" that go against Serda's vision.
However, be careful, as straying too far will incur penalties.
Can you become a legendary architect?
