★Just three days after Shay...a spectacular performance that ranks among the most epic in Beatles live performance history!
★Awesome! Paul explodes in the state-of-the-art stadium! John shouts!
★Remastered from the finest surviving vintage master recordings!
The 1965 North American tour in the summer was the largest venue tour in rock history.
Completed with the latest equipment at the time, Atlanta Stadium
unlike other venues, which only had sound systems for public address systems,
sounds like the audience and the Beatles themselves could hear the performance.
The band members were ecstatic to be performing under such unusually favorable conditions!
The band delivered a fantastic performance starting with the first song, "Twist and Shout."
Paul's performance in particular was outstanding, with his performances of "She's a Woman" and "I'm Down" rated by die-hard fans as the best performances of any Beatles live performance.
As the audience responded to the MC's words, John couldn't help but exclaim, "Can you hear me?! Great!"
He delivered sharp shouts during "I Feel Fine" and "Tears of a Train Ticket."
This, combined to create a superb performance of George's rendition of "Minna Ii Danna" (All Good Girls).
During Ringo's customary performance segment at every stage, he switched from "Act Naturally" at Shea Stadium to his long-awaited rendition of "Kareshi Ni Naritai" (I Want to Be Your Boyfriend). This was another incredible performance, and Paul got so into it that he even broke a bass string!
The result was one of The Beatles' greatest live performances, and one that made us wish they had always performed in an environment like this.
There are no records of this concert being broadcast on radio at the time, and the original recording is a master recording made via a mixing desk.
Unfortunately, part of "Dizzy Miss Lizzy" has been cut.
Furthermore, the absence of "A Hard Day's Night," which was performed every time on this tour,
whether it was cut because Paul's string broke or whether it was never actually performed remains a mystery.
The Atlanta performance, one of The Beatles' most engrossing live performances during their US tour, has been remastered from the longest and finest existing vintage master recordings to deliver unprecedented sound quality.
Plus, six bonus tracks from their US debut TV show in February 1964 are included!
This is the seventh installment in the Beatles Live series from Eternal Grooves, bringing their authentic performances to life!
