[Dreamy softening effect and CPL in one] The H&Y Cinematic CPL 1/8 is a special effects filter that combines a softening filter and a polarizing filter in one. The CPL filter removes and enhances reflections, while the White Promist filter's softening effect creates a cinematic finish.
Adjustments are made with the dials on the filter frame, making it easy to operate even with gloves on. You can also adjust the filter individually by rotating the square holder or the filter. For portraits, you can adjust reflections on hair and skin, as well as foreground and background reflections. For landscapes, you can adjust reflections and color contrast of rocks, trees, and water surfaces.
Convenient for use with Half ND filters: The drop-in design allows you to simply insert the lens into the H&Y K Series 100mm square holder from above, making it extremely easy to attach and remove. It also works well with GND filters, as it does not interfere with the attachment, removal, or adjustment of square filters.
[Two levels of weak effect] 1/4 and 1/8 (1/4 is a strong effect, 1/8 is a weak effect). The White Promist filter achieves its effect by diffusing light with white granular diffusion material kneaded into the glass, so its greatest feature is that it diffuses light evenly, softening the overall image without compromising sharpness.
[H&Y manufactures in-house] We provide a high level of functionality, including anti-fouling, water-repellent, and scratch-resistant nano coating (double-sided coating), high flatness achieved through HD polishing technology, and B270 glass from Schott, Germany. This is possible because H&Y can complete almost all processes in-house, from planning to manufacturing.

It is a drop-in filter that can be used with H&Y's patented 100mm magnetic square filter holder. The CPL filter eliminates and enhances reflections, while the White Promist filter's softening effect creates a cinematic finish. It comes in two sizes: 1/4 and 1/8, with the 1/4 providing a stronger softening effect. Simply insert it into the holder from above, making it extremely easy to attach and remove. By combining it with various half ND filters, you can expand your creative possibilities and utilize it for landscape photography, portraits, and more.
