The MONARCH series pursues clear, wide fields of view and contrast thanks to advanced optical performance. The M7 features a refined, easy-to-grip design and a diopter adjustment ring with a locking mechanism, making it a truly all-around model.
[Bright, Clear, and Wide Field of View] With a wide 60.3° apparent field of view, you can see dynamic, immersive scenes right before your eyes. All lenses and prisms are also multi-layer coated. The auxiliary prisms are coated with a high-reflection dielectric multi-layer, and the roof prisms are coated with a phase-correction coating, achieving bright, natural colors and a clear field of view. This makes it ideal for birdwatching, outdoor activities, sports viewing, and stargazing.
[Water- and Oil-Repellent Coating] The objective and eyepiece lenses are coated to repel water and oil-based stains, making them resistant to dirt. Oils and fingerprints are resistant to the lenses, and even if they do get on them, they can be easily wiped off.
・[High contrast and resolution thanks to ED glass] The use of ED (extra-low dispersion) glass corrects chromatic aberration, which causes color bleeding, while achieving high contrast and resolution. This allows you to observe even the finest details of wild birds in exquisite detail.
