Explanation by manufacturer
Uses a full metal (AL) body. Compatible with a wide range of salt lure games with a full lineup.
The full metal (AL) body is equipped with a large diameter tough digital gear with a screw-in handle to achieve powerful hoisting. Equipped with LC-ABS for “trouble-free” and “increased flight distance.” An EVA round knob is standard equipment that doesn't slip even when wet and makes it easy to apply force. With a full lineup of 4000 to 18000 sizes, it is compatible with a wide range of salt lure games, from popular light shore jigging to aiming for big offshore players.
Detailed Specifications
full metal (AL) body
Uses a highly rigid AL body and body cover. Scratch-resistant black anodized exterior
screw-in handle
Adopts a “screw-in handle” that is ideal for salt lure games that does not cause handle rattling even when winding at high loads.
Second volume guide line
The spool comes with a convenient guide line for the lower volume. * When the number of threads used is low, wrap it down to the standard line and use a new-shaped line stopper compatible with thin threads such as PE, and thick threads like leaders. The horizontal shape saves space in the vertical direction and also contributes to weight reduction of the spool. *4000 to 6000 only*No line stopper for 8000 to 18000
perfect line stopper
A new-shaped line stopper compatible with fine threads such as PE and thick threads like leaders. The horizontal shape saves space in the vertical direction and also contributes to weight reduction of the spool. *4000 to 6000 only*No line stopper for 8000 to 18000
TECHNOLOGY
tough digi gear
The trinity elements (design concept/processing technology/gear material) are essential for the drive gear, which is the most important part of the reel. The 23BG SW further evolves DigiGear II and uses a “tough DigiGear,” which allows smooth rotation to last longer. A design concept that accurately calculates even the effects on meshing caused by the application of unexpected forces. An ideal gear with a high strength finish has been realized. It realizes infinitely noiseless rotation, and accurately responds to anglers' delicate fingertips.
aerator
An aerator with a structure that could be called the rotor revolution. By distributing the load due to the optimal rim structure with a unique shape, significant weight reduction is achieved with equal strength. The rotor balance has also been improved, and light rotation with good response has been achieved.
LC-ABS
The idea of reducing backlash in ABS II remains the same, and pursues the best balance between the position and shape of the point of contact between the spool and line emission. While reducing line trouble compared to ABS II, it achieves a cast feel that makes it fall out. As a result, in casting, line flapping is reduced, thread knobs are difficult to form, and opportunities are not missed.
ATD
By impregnating the high-density carbon washer with a new type of high-performance, highly durable oil, the initial bite at the beginning of the drag effect is eliminated, and stable smoothness without sticks (unevenness) even when tightened is achieved.
