[For mounting astrophotography CMOS cameras to Vixen telescope tubes] This adapter allows you to connect astrophotography telescope accessories with a 48mm (P=0.75) diameter female thread to Vixen telescope tubes. It allows direct attachment of CMOS cameras (third-party products) equipped with M48 threads. [Expanded imaging system options] This adapter allows you to attach astrophotography CMOS cameras (third-party products)* or 48mm camera adapters (third-party products) to telescope tubes with 60mm diameter female thread eyepieces.
*Depending on the CMOS camera, an extension tube may be required. [Camera rotation mechanism] By loosening the clamp screw, the camera can be rotated without removing it, allowing for easy change of field of view. The clamp screw tip incorporates a Delrin tip. This increases the contact between components, reducing the likelihood of squaring misalignment*. *Squaring misalignment: This refers to the misalignment of the image plane of the objective lens and the image sensor plane within the camera. The image plane and image sensor plane must be parallel. Loss of parallelism causes focus variations in the corners of astronomical images, affecting the quality of the image. [Compatible with commercially available filters] By using the "M56 filter conversion adapter 48/52" (sold separately), commercially available 48mm/52mm camera lens filters can be attached.
*Not compatible with Collector PH, Extender PH, Coma Corrector 3, or SDP Reducer.
