【Setting Explanation】 GOVERNOR – The term for soldiers who build Hexa Gear and pilot the machines. Since the construction of the crystal furnace that produces regenerative energy resource "Hexagram," people quickly abandoned the depleted traditional resources, ushering in a new era where everything was replaced by Hexagrams. Humanity saw hope in the future, but eventually human greed accelerated, ignoring the environmental management AI, leading to conflicts over the crystal furnaces. Large corporations with capital and technological prowess developed combat Hexa Gears and deployed them across various regions. The conflicts intensified.

The crystal furnaces not only became the spark of war but also quietly polluted human habitats, gradually corroding the land. People developed and wore armor-type suits designed for extreme environments, called Armor Types, to operate around the polluted crystal furnaces and carry out combat missions.

The Early Governor refers to the initial form of Governor, the earliest version equipped with traditional gear from a time when the third-generation Hexa Gear and Armor Types did not yet exist, i.e., a period when pollution from the crystal furnaces was much lighter than today.
