Designed for filmmaking, television, and web broadcasting applications, the Tascam DR-60DmkII Multi-Track Field Recorder is an ideal companion for digital single-lens reflex cameras. It captures high-resolution audio from external sources on up to four tracks, routes audio between the camera and recorder, and allows convenient monitoring through headphones. The DR-60DmkII features a handle gentle on straps, a tripod mount socket, and a camera mount screw attachment, accommodating various setups and working styles. Multiple power supply options and remote control capabilities make the DR-60DmkII perfect for location recording and long-duration video shoots. Two balanced XLR-1/4 inch combo inputs handle microphone or line-level signals (up to +4 dBu from high-end sound mixers) and can supply phantom power independently. A 3.5mm microphone/line input with selectable plug-in power is provided for situations requiring the recording of lavalier microphone or wireless receiver outputs. Utilizing modes such as stereo safety track recording, peak reduction, limiting, and auto level, it ensures clean, distortion-free recordings.
