High-spec polarized lenses developed specifically for the purpose of "seeing".
A sense of unity that can only be truly felt in the field.
Lens Features: Equipped with TALEX Katchu material 8-curve lenses, characterized by their lightness and strength with a specific gravity of 1.15. The clear field of view covers a wide area, ensuring you don't miss even the slightest changes on the water's surface. Furthermore, the lens shape has been meticulously designed so that the frame parts do not obstruct your view even when shifting your gaze from side to side. The water-repellent properties of the renowned coating have also been upgraded, further enhancing the ability to maintain a comfortable field of vision.
Frame Features: Sunglasses developed from scratch to function as field gear. The adoption of 8-curve lenses achieves a sense of unity so seamless you forget you're wearing sunglasses. The lens mounting angle is also handcrafted and set to a standard value to prevent any distortion of distance perception. The β-titanium front brow is designed so that the tension during wear does not affect the lens, minimizing distortion of the polarized lens. Furthermore, because there is no rim to fix the lens, it does not obstruct the left and right field of vision. About CACCHU: Development started in 2000, and it is a new material polarized lens that achieves excellent impact resistance and distortion-free performance. In addition to its lightness with a specific gravity of 1.15, it is a new generation polarized lens that clears the rigorous US government inspection standard (ANSI Z87.1). It won the Good Design Award in 2005. With past technologies, adding "distortion" or "decreased filter performance" occurred when impact-resistant lenses were added, but the new material CACCHU solves all of these problems. It retains the performance of conventional TALEX while being characterized by its unparalleled "strength" and "lightness".
