Food supplement in the form of a hardcapsule containing reishi (Ganodermalucidum) fruiting body extract, standardisedfor polysaccharides, beta-glucans andtriterpenes. Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) is a species ofmushroom from which a valuable extractstandardised for polysaccharides,beta-glucans and triterpenes is obtained. Ithas been used for centuries in the Far Eastand, due to its properties, reishi is oftenreferred to as the “mushroom of longevity”. Our food supplement provides in a dailyserving (2 capsules) 1000 mg of extractfrom the fruiting bodies of Ganodermalucidum (DER 4:1). To produce 1000 mg ofextract, as much as 4 g of dried fruitingbodies were used. The extract isstandardised to 40% (400 mg)polysaccharides, 25% (250 mg)beta-glucans, and 1% (10 mg) triterpenes. Ganoderma lucidum is distinguished by itscharacteristic appearance – a shiny, hardsurface with a dark colouration and aslightly bitter taste. It is the presence oftriterpenes that gives the extract its naturallyintense bitter profile, although in capsuleform the flavour is not perceptible. We recommend taking 2 capsules daily,preferably after a meal, with a glass ofwater. The supplement is available in twovariants: a pack of 60 capsules, sufficientfor 1 month of use, and a pack of 120capsules, providing supplementation for 2months.
