It's perfect for children, and also recommended for campers who want to pack their gear compactly! The short version of the wooden handle is 70mm shorter than the standard version. There are no changes to the forged or head sections. The curved shape has been carefully designed to ensure a secure and comfortable grip, even with the shorter handle. Ease of use remains the same as the standard version. *Note! Leather grips cannot be attached to the Ultimate Hammer Short. This forged hammer is made by heating a round steel material to a red-hot temperature of approximately 1100°C and then crushing the material with a powerful force of about 1 ton. By applying strong pressure to the heated steel, a peg hammer with superior strength is created. The entire peg hammer is heat-treated, resulting in a hard, strong body that is resistant to bending. The hammer body is coated with a cationic electrodeposition coating that offers excellent rust prevention and can withstand over 1,000 hours of salt spray. The head is made of brass, also known as "yellow copper," an alloy of copper (Cu) and zinc (Zn). It has moderate strength and gradually darkens over time, which can be enjoyed as part of its transformation. This darkening is an oxide film, so it also provides rust prevention. The handle is made of natural wood, and features flowing, curved lines.
