■ '1' FAC

The '1' is a distortion/reverb pedal designed to recreate the legendary 'BROWN' sound that shocked guitarists worldwide from the late 1970s to early 1980s using a clean amplifier.

In addition to the high-resolution, powerful drive sound similar to that legendary tone, it features a built-in reverb circuit that adds ambiance and depth.

The gain range of the '1' covers from medium to very heavy distortion, and the amount of distortion can be easily controlled with the guitar's volume knob (the input impedance is set to directly affect the signal from the guitar, but if a buffer or buffered effect is used before the '1', the effect may be slightly weakened). The BROWN control, which is key to creating this legendary sound, adjusts the amount of distortion and harmonic content. By skillfully using the BROWN and PRESENCE controls, you can achieve the same sound with various pickups and amplifiers.

It also features a built-in reverb circuit with a Reverb level control to set the ambiance. This sound simulates studio reverb used in classic 1980s recordings. The decay time is preset to avoid disrupting the rhythm of your playing, but it can also be adjusted internally with the trimmer potentiometer for decay time and tone.
