This beautifully crafted UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter is a 1/60 scale pressure-cast model from NewRay. It's a fantastic scale replica. As a replacement for the UH-1 Huey, the UH-60 Black Hawk, with its enhanced functionality and reliability, made its maiden flight on November 29, 1974. The Black Hawk was the first aircraft to feature the General Electric T700 turboshaft engine, developed as a turboshaft engine for multi-purpose military helicopters. This medium-sized helicopter, with its four-blade single rotor and twin engines, has a low profile, allowing it to be airlifted by C-130 transport aircraft. It boasts higher survivability than its predecessors and is equipped with advanced avionics and electronics technologies, including a Global Positioning System (GPS). The Black Hawk also serves as Marine One, used for transporting the US President.
