For those using the speed lock system:
(1) Turn the dial finely.
The speed lock is characterized by its ability to make fine adjustments to looseness, so please adjust the dial in small increments. *This is done in the unlocked state. Note 1) Over-loosening the lock may cause the dial to come off. (2) Do not try to close the lock forcefully.
Tightening the dial may prevent the lever from closing. (3) Do not apply excessive force to close it.
Applying excessive force may damage the lever. (4) Adjust in a stable location.
*Adjust the length in a flat place before starting your hike. *Adjusting in rocky areas may be dangerous and may cause parts to be lost, so please be careful.
