Description

The PORTER FILM series features leather accessories crafted with thick shoulder leather that is carefully coated with multiple layers of thin pigment film through a glass processing technique, then lightly sanded to create a unique expression with varying shades.

The leather has a dense, firm texture and is made from vegetable-tanned Nume leather, carefully tanned over many years by a tannery in Tuscany, Italy, known for its traditional methods. The shoulder leather has distinctive ridges called 'tora' along the spine, which, after glass processing and sanding, result in slight variations in wear and an uneven finish, giving each piece a unique character. Over time, the leather gradually softens and becomes more comfortable to the touch.

The zipper exudes a sense of luxury, featuring a smooth-opening, glossy gold-plated Excella zipper. To highlight the series' design, a thicker gauge zipper is used even for small items like coin cases. The exterior is finished with a cut-edge polishing technique to enjoy the contrast between the glass-processed black surface and the natural Nume leather. The edges are carefully polished and coated with a topcoat, and the interior is crafted solely from leather without lining, offering a luxurious feel. The brand logo is laser-etched with high precision, capable of reproducing fine characters, and has a slightly burnt brown color, giving it a subtle aged appearance.

Please note that due to the characteristic surface sanding, each piece may have slight variations in the sanding pattern. Also, water exposure (rain, sweat), sun fading, and discoloration over time are unavoidable. Please exercise caution when using in summer, rainy weather, or with light-colored clothing.
