? 360° reception without turning the antenna – Discover the powerful TechniSat SMARTTENNE 5 HD omnidirectional antenna!
? The most important benefits and features in a nutshell:
• ? 360° omnidirectional pattern (Horizontal): Forget about cumbersome and precise aiming at the transmitter. The antenna collects the signal evenly from every horizontal direction!
• ? DVB-T2 / HEVC standard and high gain: Fully ready to receive free channels in HD and Ultra HD (4K) quality. The integrated, low-noise amplifier offers a powerful 32 dB!
• ?️ Hermetic and armored housing: Designed for stable outdoor operation in our climate – completely resistant to rain, snow, and frost.
• ? Wideband VHF + UHF reception: Easily captures the full TV band, including the demanding MUX-8 multiplex and digital radio.
Tired of constant signal loss and pixelation on your TV screen? Looking for an antenna that can easily handle signals from various, even dispersed, transmitters? TechniSat SMARTTENNE 5 HD is a professional, active outdoor antenna with a unique omnidirectional design.
With a maximum operating range of up to 40 km from the transmitter, the device guarantees excellent image quality and stability where traditional directional antennas require constant repositioning.
✨ Why is SMARTTENNE 5 HD a revolution in TV reception?
? Complete freedom thanks to omnidirectional characteristics Traditional directional antennas require tedious alignment and "shooting" at a specific point on the map. If the transmitters of different multiplexes are located in different directions, a significant problem arises.
The SMARTTENNE 5 HD solves this problem once and for all! Thanks to its horizontal omnidirectional pattern, the antenna captures radio waves in a 360° radius, ensuring stable reception no matter where the signal is coming from.
?️ Universal 3-in-1 arm: Mast, balcony or wall TechniSat engineers have designed an ingenious, multi-functional mounting system. Using the included universal arm and a special wing screw, you can quickly install the antenna in several ways:
1. To a mast or pipe – using the durable clamp included in the set.
2. To a balcony railing – an ideal solution for apartment buildings and apartments.
3. Directly to the building wall – as an aesthetic panel on the facade.
?️ Professional sealing and moisture protection Water is the biggest enemy of antenna installations. In the SMARTTENNE 5 HD model, the F-type connector is located on the underside of the housing, and the set includes a special, thick rubber waterproof cover.
After screwing the RG6 cable on, simply slide the seal over the plug – this gives you 100% certainty that moisture will not get inside and will not weaken the signal after years of use.
? How to get the perfect picture? A practical installation guide
According to the official technical documentation of the BDA_SMARTTENNE_5_HD, following the rules below will allow you to get the maximum quality from the device:
• ⬆️ Mount as high as possible: To ensure loss-free digital signal reception, install the antenna at the highest possible point of the building in the direction of the transmitter. This will reduce natural obstacles.
• ? Avoid direct proximity to interference: Try not to mount the antenna close to devices that may generate strong electromagnetic waves or wireless interference (such as base stations, high-power electrical installations, or microwave ovens).
• ? Correct connection order: When installing at home, remember to first connect the antenna cable to the signal amplifier, then connect the amplifier to the TV/set-top box, and finally connect the power supply plug to the amplifier and to the 230V mains.
Important: The power cable must not be connected to the power supply until the final outdoor installation is completed! During a storm, disconnect the cable from the decoder.
• ?️ Check your location (Important!): Before purchasing and installing, make sure you know where the nearest TV transmitter is, how far you are from it, and what the terrain is like in your area (presence of hills, valleys, or dense forests).
This will allow you to optimally select and mount the equipment for the specifics of your location.
