The Monkey with a Balance Beam will encourage every toddler to explore the world, numbers, and mathematical operations. The balance beam will make learning math a real pleasure, and your toddler will want to deepen their knowledge of the world.
It perfectly stimulates the imagination, encourages creative and unconventional thinking, and also wonderfully develops manual skills in the youngest.
- scale with a monkey
- 10 numbers from 1-10
- 30 double-sided playing cards
- 19 monkey figures
3 difficulty levels of playing cards:
- level 1 - green cards - number recognition
- level 2 - purple cards - counting
- level 3 - blue cards - addition
Choose the game difficulty level and shuffle the appropriate cards. Place a balance beam between the players. The youngest player starts the game.
- The player selects a card from the pile. The card has a number and the corresponding number of monkeys.
- The player must choose the appropriate number and place it on one side of the scale. Then, place the appropriate number of monkeys on the other side.
- The first player to collect five cards wins the game.
- The player selects a card from the pile. There are various numbers of monkeys on the card. They must count them and place the appropriate number of monkeys on one side of the scale.
- Next, the player selects the appropriate number, indicating the number of monkeys on the previous card. Place the corresponding number with the number of monkeys on the other side of the scale.
- The first player to collect five cards wins the game.
- The player selects a card from the pile. The card contains any equations.
- The card can have an equation in the form: number + number, number + monkey, or monkey + monkey
- On one side of the scale, place the equation from the card (e.g., equation 2 + 3, place the numbers 2 and 3; if the equation is 2 + 3 monkeys, place the number 2 and 3 monkeys)
- Then, make the equation and place its result on the other side (if the equation result is 5, place the number 5 or 5 monkeys on the other side of the equation)
- The first player to collect five cards wins the game.
