HOW TO PLAY GONGGI?
Gonggi is a classic arcade game that requires reflexes, precision, and coordination. The goal is to toss and collect the dice in a specific sequence, using one hand.
1. PREPARATION: Lay out 5 dice on a flat surface.
2. TOSSING AND COLLECTING:
- Select one dice and toss it up.
- Before it falls, pick up one of the lying dice and catch the one you tossed.
- Repeat until you collect them all one at a time.
3. NEXT LEVELS:
- Toss one dice and collect 2 at a time.
- Then 3 at a time, then all 4 at once.
4. FINAL:
- Toss all the dice up and catch as many as you can on the back of your hand.
- Toss again and catch as many as you can in your closed hand. The more you catch, the better your score!
- Time Race – who will complete all the levels faster?
- Duel – players take turns, the one who makes a mistake loses.
- Hand Swap – try playing with your non-dominant hand for a greater challenge.
