The Harlequin series is a new series created from design records (archives) at the Wedgwood Museum in England. Wedgwood is a prestigious British brand that enjoys immense popularity and support in Japan. It is one of the world's largest porcelain manufacturers, alongside Royal Doulton and Minton, both established in England in 1759. The naming and design image of the products have been consciously created with "ancient Greece and Rome" as a motif since the time of the first Josiah Wedgwood I. They have also always been conscious of conveying a sense of luxury. Because they have built such a highly acclaimed history, their reputation has been boosted by the "great patronage" of the royal family. Regarding minor scratches and paint chips on the products: Because the Harlequin series products are intentionally made to have an antique look, small scratches and paint chips can be seen. Please note that this does not mean the product is defective.
