The hood is not bad, exactly as in the photo. It's a bit too big, for a head size of 58 I would still recommend taking a smaller one. But otherwise, it's generally comfortable, with a drawstring, tightens well and protects from the wind. The zipper, I think, is not very reliable, I greased it with wax just in case, I don't know how long it will last.
