OstroVit Quatro Mushroom Blend VEGE - a complex combination of valuable ingredients
Reishi - Ganoderma lucidum - is a species of mushroom native to Asia and belonging to the Polyporaceae family. It is also known as reishi, and in Poland it is also called varnished tinder fungus, which refers to the shiny surface of the mushroom.. Reishi grows primarily on deciduous trees and is usually found on dead plant parts.. Due to its bitter taste, it is considered an inedible type of mushroom, but due to the richness of active substances, it is used as an ingredient in food supplements.
Lion's Mane - Hericium erinaceus - is a species of Asian mushroom of the Hericiaceae family. It is an edible mushroom that is commonly found in deciduous forests, growing mainly on weak, old or dead trees.. It is a product that stands out for its distinctive appearance - after all, it is not called lion's mane for nothing - as well as its unique aroma, which is reminiscent of seafood.
Cordyceps - Cordyceps sinensis - is a species of parasitic fungus belonging to the Ophiocordycipitaceae family. In nature it is found on the Tibetan plateau, in the highest parts of the mountains, at an altitude of approximately 3-4 thousand meters above sea level.. For growth and development, cordyceps uses caterpillars of the genus Thitarodes, usually found at a depth of several centimeters underground.. The mycelium, extracting nutrients from the larvae, moves to the surface of the earth, and then a fruiting plant grows, resembling a small bell.. Cordyceps has a slightly bitter taste and a meaty smell.. Cordyceps mushrooms are a rich source of biologically active substances - the mushroom contains, among other things, nucleotides, amino acids and polysaccharides, which is why cordyceps is often used as a component of food supplements.
Chaga - Inonotus obliquus - is a species of fungus in the family Hymenochaetaceae, also known as chaga or birch tinder fungus, which is explained by the fact that chaga grows mainly on birch trees, although it is sometimes found on other deciduous trees.. It is a parasitic fungus that grows mainly in northern China and Siberia.. It has been valued in traditional folk medicine for hundreds of years due to its richness of biologically active substances.
The Asian mushroom extracts used in OstroVit are standardized for a specific content of polysaccharides, which has a positive effect on the quality of the dietary supplement and ensures the same amount of substances in each serving of the product.
