"METAL GALAXY" features a diverse range of tracks, all based on the theme of "Traveling Through the Metal Galaxy." The regular version of "GALAXY" released worldwide (excluding Japan) contains 14 tracks, but the Japan-exclusive "Japan Complete Edition" contains a total of 16 tracks, including two tracks exclusive to the Japanese version.

The Japanese version will be released as a two-disc set, a first for an original album.

As the name BABYMETAL suggests, this work is a further evolution and expansion of the "new metal" born from light and darkness, duality, ambivalence, and other various chemical reactions. Just as the sun and moon change the landscape of the world as they shine differently between day and night, they will play more diverse types of sound than ever before, painting the metal galaxy in a colorful array of colors.

This album also features five worldwide featured artists named after the characters in each song: B'z guitarist Tak Matsumoto on "DA DA DANCE," Sabaton vocalist Joakim Brodén on "Oh! MAJINAI," Polyphia guitarists Tim Henson and Scott LePage on "Brand New Day," Arch Enemy vocalist Alissa White-Gluz on "Distortion," and F.HERO on "PA PA YA!!," adding even more color to this intergalactic metal journey.

In addition, the first-run limited edition SUN and MOON versions will feature vinyl-sized jackets and packaging consistent with their respective concepts.
