Initially a raincoat factory, the company released the "Perfecto" series, the world's first rider jacket with a front zipper, in 1928. At a time when only buttons were available, this groundbreaking jacket became a sensation and had a major impact on the history of rider jackets thereafter. It was the legendary "One Star" model, released in the 1950s, featuring star-shaped studs on the epaulettes, that put Schott on the map.
