This is a pair of tea mat

made from luxurious kinran fabric reminiscent of an obi sash.

“Kinran” refers to a type of woven fabric that combines gold, silver, and various colored threads to depict seasonal patterns. It has been used for a wide range of purposes since ancient times, and its patterns—a fusion of vibrant colors and tradition—have long been cherished as one of Japan’s representative crafts. This item is delivered as a boxed set. Wrapped in washi-style wrapping paper, it makes an ideal gift. To prevent the wrapping paper from tearing, we ship it in an OPP bag.
