Kiyoshi Kobayashi, Japan's leading gypsy swing guitarist, presents a new album filled with innocent longing. His lively performance is filled with nostalgia for his spiritual mentor, Django Reinhardt. This time, Chavolo Schmitt makes a guest appearance, bringing delight to his uniquely dynamic playing. Yoshiaki Sato's accordion performance adds a touch of European sophistication to the album. The relaxed presence of these talented players brings a sense of comfort to the listener. The original track ⑭, which even Chavolo said moved him to tears, is a truly beautiful masterpiece. (Yoshiaki Katajima) --- February 2005 Issue -- Contents (From "CD Journal Review")
